What is your level of security?
Getsend prioritizes user security with these measures:
Does Getsend have a free version? What subscription plans are available?
Currently, we offer two packages: free and paid with additional features. As we introduce more features, further updates will be implemented.
What does encryption entail, and which data does Proton encrypt?
Getsend offers end-to-end encryption for emails and attachments among Getsend users. All data, including messages from other email providers, is stored with zero-access encryption, ensuring only the account holder can access it. For communicating with non-Getsend users, Password-protected Emails or TLS encryption is utilized. Total data security!

Explain the functioning of the custom domain feature.
Custom domain refers to the practice of using a personalized web address (URL) for a business website, rather than a generic one provided by a hosting platform. It works by associating a unique domain name with the business website's content, allowing visitors to access the site through this custom address.
For instance, instead of using "businessname.hostingplatform.com" as the website address, a business can opt for a custom domain like "businessname.com." By setting up this custom domain and linking it to the website, when potential customers enter "businessname.com" in their web browser, they will be directed to the business's website, creating a more professional and brand-oriented online presence. This not only enhances the business's credibility but also ensures a memorable and distinct online identity.

We will provide more instructions with screenshots of how to set this up.
Why choose us?
Guard your privacy.
Keep your communications safe from prying eyes.
By choosing a private email service like GETSEND MAIL, you can protect yourself from government surveillance, such as the NSA. Your email messages are securely encrypted, so we can't share them with any government agency or unauthorized parties. Rest assured that your privacy is our top priority.
Gmail or Getsend?
Indeed, Getsend offers better security than Gmail. With Getsend Mail, only you can access your emails; not even Getsend itself can read them. In contrast, Gmail keeps decryption keys on its servers, enabling them to read your messages or share them with authorities if needed. This absence of zero-access encryption in Gmail increases the vulnerability of your data during a potential breach. Getsend mail, however, uses zero-access encryption for storing messages, adding an additional safeguard against data breaches.
Data Retention/Deletion Policy
As part of our commitment to data security and transparency, all customer data is stored on servers within Nigeria. If you wish to remove your data from our records, simply send a data deletion request to our support team. We will swiftly initiate the deletion process, ensuring all identifiable data associated with your account is permanently removed within a maximum of 10 business days from your request.
We have a unique approach to data deletion request unlike others, we instantly and permanently delete your email without keeping any backups. Our server's location in Nigeria allows us to legally implement this practice, ensuring no records are retained whatsoever.
What Information Do We Gather?
We gather IP addresses, cryptocurrency payment addresses, card payment details (visible only to us through Flutterwave, our card processor), interactions with our support team, and user email addresses.
How We Utilize Collected Data:
IP Address - There's a single exception. Generally, we don't maintain logs or retain data, in line with Nigeria's protective laws. An exception arises during hacking or DDOS attacks when we anonymously record IP addresses, but only for up to 10 days. By default, we don't retain user details like message IDs, sender and recipient addresses, subjects, browser versions, countries, or timestamps.
Cryptocurrency Payment Address - We retain cryptocurrency addresses for specific circumstances, such as refunds or providing bonus payments to users.
Card Details - For card payments, our payment gateway, Flutterwave, handles all transactions, with no data stored on our end. We can process actions like refunds, paybacks, and withdrawals, but we don't directly store this information.
Communication with Support - We use this information for internal purposes, including setting up features, considering customer suggestions, addressing bug reports, managing account upgrades, and tracking status.
User Email Address - We keep customer email records to send updates, inform about latest features, and provide information to our users.
Furthermore, our team members have signed confidentiality agreements to safeguard all collected data. Your privacy is our foremost concern, and we do not disclose information.
Payment methods.
We accept BTC, Card payments, and Monero transactions.
The Crossroads of Privacy, Technology, and Government OR The Intersection of Privacy, Technology, and Government.
In Nigeria, on June 14, 2023, President Bola Tinubu enacted the Data Protection Act, 2023. This law's primary goal is safeguarding the essential rights, freedoms, and interests of data subjects, as stipulated in Nigeria's 1999 Constitution.
It's vital to emphasize that we are not engaged in any private or governmental surveillance or monitoring activities. We want to clarify that we do not collaborate with authorities such as the NDA concerning our services or divulgence of user data
SendMail is offered by a Nigerian company, which means it adheres to Nigerian regulations. Nigeria maintains stringent privacy laws that safeguard your data and uphold your privacy rights.
We lack access to your email messages, and thus, we cannot provide what we do not possess. Furthermore, we rigorously abide by the Data Protection Act, 2023, and will not share user information with foreign law enforcement agencies unless compelled by Nigerian law.
Please note that we will only share limited user information if legally mandated by Nigerian authorities. We adhere to Nigerian law when addressing electronic notices. Typically, we question requests, especially those that appear questionable or run counter to public interest. We refrain from compliance until all legal avenues are exhausted.
According to Nigerian law, authorities, not us, must inform individuals involved in legal proceedings. We are unable to decrypt encrypted content or unveil decrypted copies. Specific policy transparency reports, along with the current warrant canary, provide details about data requests from Nigerian authorities.
